The workshop will be led by Rod Ebright, the founder and host of this event. He is a veteran speaker and instructor who has conducted seminars on creativity in numerous academic and corporate settings. In a career spanning 30 years, Rod has been a graphic designer, writer, television and radio commercial producer, marketing and advertising planner, media buyer, web site designer, and creative team leader. He was the Senior Director of Creative Services, Research, and Product Development at Highlights for Children, Inc. and was Director of Marketing Communications at OhioHealth. His experience and insights, along with his humorous, enthusiastic manner, will provide an animated and impactful workshop experience.
Bryan Huber brings nearly two decades of experience in creative direction, advertising, design and branding, including several years working in both worldwide and local advertising agencies. Bryan established huber+co in 2003 and its success led to its acquisition by Paul Werth Associates in 2009, where Bryan served as Chief Interactive Officer. His latest endeavor is serving as Web Strategist for Thirty-One Gifts. Bryan has been developing effective creative solutions for clients from concept to completion. He works with clients to provide strategy and creative direction for projects that communicate the client's brand. The firm;s work has been recognized by a number of local and national professional organizations, including the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts, the Public Relations Society of America, and AdFed. Bryan's work has been featured on MTV and in Logo Lounge II, and Faith-Based Graphic Design.
Matt Byrne is the President of MyHealthQuoter. com. He has 14 years of technical product marketing experience as Vice President of Integral Sciences, Inc., a testing laboratory, and as National Marketing Manager for Intertek Testing Services. He founded Spiralight Media Group, specializing in marketing and message distribution technologies, co-founded MyHealthQuoter. com. Matt is also founder of The Ohio Referral Network, a dynamic group of 1,400 online members and five live chapters that help build connections within the business community. He is an innovative thinker and knowledgeable practitioner of state-of-the-art technologies.
Jason Barger is an author, speaker, consultant, and creator of the Step Back from the Baggage Claim Movement - featured by The New York Times, ABC News, National Geographic Traveler, Kiplinger, Book TV, The Seattle Times, The International Herald Tribune, and many other media outlets worldwide. Before taking off to sleep in airports and observe human behavior, Barger led more than 1,700 people to construct 125 houses internationally for families living in poverty. He also implemented the Streets Mission Project to serve the homeless of Columbus, Ohio. As the former director of First Community Church's Camp Akita, he designed programming focused on living with joy, love, compassion, faith, and service.
Additional creative talent will be abundant among other panelists and presenters at the 2011 Creativity Retreat. It includes Jonathan Ebright, principal of Ebright Video Productions LLC; and Andrew Brush and Paul Milligan, principals of Best Light Video.
